I can not be 100% certain that James Graham and Elizabeth Aitken were the parents of the William Graham who enlisted in the HEIC arny in 1816 at the age of 16 and went on to marry Jane Farrell.
However since the William Graham in this family is the only William Graham born in Falkirk in 1800 listed on the scotlandspeople.gov.uk Old Parish births and baptisms Records, I believe that there is a good chance that I have the correct family.
I found two marriage dates in the marriage and banns OPR's for James and Elizabeth, they are both for the same couple, most likely having been the banns posted at each of the churches of the bride and the groom. The dates on these documents are only one day different and I have used the date on the banns for Elizabeth's church in Falkirk.
James and Elizabeth had three children, Margaret, James and William all born in Falkirk.
