John Hogg and Catherine Hall lived in Leith, Edinburgh. They both originated from the Berwickshire area. Their daughter Catherine Hall Hogg and her Husband William Blackie emigrated to Canada. Two of John and Catherines sons, John and James were killed in action in France during World War 1.
