Thomas Skimming or McSkimming and his wife Agnes Toul lived in Gatehouse of Fleet, Kirkcudbrightshire from the mid 19th century to the early 20th century. Thomas's occupation was masons's labourer. Thomas and Agnes had eight chidren: Agnes, Helen, Mary, Maggie, John, James, Isabella and William. James emigrated to Canada.
