William Skimming or McSkimming and his wife Jessie Middleton lived in Kirkcudbrightshire in the late 1800's and early 1900's. William's occupation was farm labourer. William and Jessie had eleven children: Agnes, Thomas, John, Ellen, William, Edith, Jessie, Rodan, Robert, David and Catherine.
