Rhine Family Tree

The Anglo Indian Rhine family lived in India in the 19th and 20th centuries. I have found evidence of them living in Santa Cruz (now part of Bombay), Calcutta, Multan (now in Pakistan) and Saharanpur.

So far I have not been able to discover the Rhine family roots. The name "Rhine" suggests a German or European background but there is also the possibility of a change of spelling over the years. eg. "Ryan" becoming "Rhine".

Recent DNA research suggests that someone in the family has roots in the Philippine Islands.
